We visited Tsali Notch the day before the eclipse, and met the wonderful folks. Great Tennessee hospitality! Everyone was friendly and excited for the upcoming eclipse. We had a wine tasting and took home a couple of bottles. The team was prepared for the eclipse, with plenty of parking and wide-open space to see one of nature's great wonders. We had a great time, and will visit the next time we're in the Knoxville area. Thanks for the wonderful experience, Tsali Notch!!!
Nice spot to view the solar eclipse. Staff put a lot of effort into planning for the day when they did not know how many to expect. Ahead of the event staff also spent a lot of time responding to e-mail inquiries.
Vendor stands were very nice.
They've made this place inviting and special with attention to the rustic setting, folksy atmosphere, and teaching details of their surprisingly good wine. Tsali is off the beaten path, but well worth the drive to their 90 acre vineyard.
Would visit again.
Port-a-potties were few and were poorly placed! Lines were 30 plus ppl long. I realize they did not know what to expect and our view was wonderful but too bad bouncer type guy couldn't have been a little more accommodating.
Returned Monday morning for $20 parking, to be packed in! Later arrivals were allowed to spread out and take up space for their canopies. Car beside us was told to take theirs down and ours was partially over our car. A car was parked right up to ours and I was told others paid for two spots, which I am sure was not the truth!
Visited this winery the day before the eclipse, to scope it out! Beautiful grounds, great wine and very helpful staff! Enjoyed a wine tasting and made our purchase for the 'big event'.
I've certainly enjoyed all the times I have come out there. Great outdoor view and superb products.
