Visited during the 2017 eclipse. Very nice park! Really appreciated all the hard work of the local officials to organize the event, with food vendors, live music, and even free parking. Thanks a lot! Hope to visit again.
Came here to watch the eclipse- glad we did. Police and Fire Department staff were on hand to assist the thousands that came, and they were all friendly and did a great job. Great place to visit, wish we had more time to visit. Someday I'd like to go back and check out the rest of the park
It is nice to have a close place to walk. Downside, overseer (city employee ) feeds geese which encourages them to stay thus when you walk you must dodge Goose poop. Lots and lots of Goose poop. Also no dogs are allowed . Should allow dogs on lease.
My family and I traveled from Pennsylvania to see the Solar Eclipse. We found the perfect spot at Kefauver Park. The town and park were beautiful. The police and organizers did an amazing job. We were very impressed on how well this event was managed. Everyone involved deserves much praise. Thank you for a very memorable experience.
Nice park with things for all ages. It is situated around a pond and has trees and pavilion. It was an excellent choice we made for viewing the total eclipse of 2017. For this event it was very organised
